The idea for and development of this website was born of  personal hardships.  I am pleased to tell you all that what began for me as a personal journey has evolved into the leading internet site dedicated to St. Jude today.

When face with some of the greatest challenges of my life several years ago, and with a future that truly seemed to be hopeless, I recalled the words I had heard often as a young boy growing up Catholic: when you are faced with a desperate situation, pray to St. Jude and he will bring you comfort.

As I started looking deeper into the story of
St. Jude, I found there was no one place
that provided a complete background and source of information about his life and his special novena. I prayed to St. Jude for guidance, and was inspired to use my skills as a writer to create a an internet site--one that would  pay tribute to St. Jude to spread the word of his friendship and hope to others.

I set the following goals in offering the St. Jude Novena Site:

• Devote myself to being a witness to the power of St. Jude in my life and spreading his message of hope and consolation
  
• Give others a means to be witnesses to that same healing power
  
• Make an effort to alleviate, in some small way, the suffering of others around the world, in the name of St. Jude and those who have been helped by him
